Italian-American, Kyle Puccia, is the rare New Yorker who actually LOVES living in LA. Puccia began singing in 4th grade when he garnered the coveted 11th hour solo in his school's production of Tall Tom Jefferson. He was hooked! Puccia earned his BFA in Musical Theatre at SUNY Fredonia College. After graduation, he worked professionally in the majority of the United States starring in productions of Big River, Fame, Hello Dolly, Godspell and many others. Puccia settled in NYC where he continued to work in theatre. Some highlights include his original one man show with music about Jack Kerouac & Jazz at Rose's Turn, The Raft of the Medusa written and directed by Joe Pintauro, European Tour of the musical Hair directed by creator, Jim Rado.
Following Hair, Puccia decided to shake things up a bit when he moved to LA in 2000. Since then he has become a successful recording artist, a prominent singing teacher, music director and vocal arranger, songwriter and he continues to act in regional cabaret and musical-theatre productions such as Evita, Carousel, Into The Woods and others. Recently, Kyle music directed Hair at the Knightsbridge Theatre and also did music direction and vocal arrangements for LA and Las Vegas productions of 80s rock musical, Rock of Ages with Kyle Gass of Tenacious D., Dan Finnerty of the Dan Band, Jack Blades from 80s rock bands Damn Yankees and Night Ranger, Katherine McPhee and other notable talent. Puccia is currently writing songs for LA's most successful dancers who have worked with Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears, Ricky Martin, Madonna, PINK. He is honored to contribute to leading these deserving artists into the spotlight with his songs!
Bipolar, part one marks Puccia's second full length CD. His debut CD, Identity, is available on iTunes and has gotten radio play in the US and in Europe.
